The vines are the key element and have several periods of development. It is crucial that vines are pruned leaving 4 or 5 basal buds per arm to ensure optimum production. Essential phytosanitary treatments are applied to combat diseases that may affect the vines and guarantee the quality of the end product. The leaves covering the grape bunches are removed to aerate the grapes and prevent diseases, which can be a problem in the short-to-medium term. Weeds can grow in the soil next to the vines. We do not use herbicides; the land is simply cultivated with ploughs and rippers.

Production is controlled in late August, carefully inspecting all stock and keeping production to a minimum in order to achieve the finest grapes and thus ensure the final product reflects four seasons of work and dedication.
